Unitedsteel Mill produce super thickness A387 Grade 5 Class 2 is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel plates intended primarily for welded boiler and pressure vessels designed of elevated temperature service. The Cr content 5% and the Mo content 0.5%.
 
Each grade except grade 21L,Grade 22L,Grade 91 and Grade 911 is available in two classes of tensile strength levels. Grade 91 and Grade 911 are available only as Class 2.


A387 Grade 5 Class 2 max thickness of plates is limited only by the capacity of the composition to meet specified mechanical property requirements.
